This will be a test run for something interesting in mind. Let me tell you a bit about me, I like to sing, I like to play guitar (although fairly poorly), i have an interest in photography (truthfully, i don't go out and take photos often) and I like to skate. So, i want to put these interests of mine and expand upon them.
First of all, I find myself a bit stuck in terms of singing, I've hit a wall or rather my comfort zone where I don't know many songs or artists to sing to expand my vocal horizons. And the risk i want to take is to push beyond that. Getting over my first internet jitters is one, but if you'd like to help me on this journey.
Here's the deal: slowly but surely I'll list a range of artists and songs I like to sing to give you an idea my music taste and vocal range (a rough estimate) in return, as i progress, i may show you how i've gone in terms of singing, if i don't die of stage fright!
In return, you may learn or appreciate some of the artists I mention, who knows, you might find your next favourite band/artist/person right here. If anything I'm more of a student than a teacher, your feedback will be great. And i encourage anyone in the same headspace to do the same.
As my interests shifts, i'll work on other things like photography and skating.
Speaking of such, if you longboard in the Sydney, Australia area, drop me a line, I'm learning that too (for about a year, progress is real slow for me) and maybe we can organise a skate session.
There's a lot to learn out there, but I'll leave it to you guys and we'll see what we can make of this idea in my little head
